The Bettencourt Family 2009 Holiday Letter

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2009,

We hope everyone had a holy Christmas and wish you blessings in the New Year.

Aria and Nadia and Natasha are well entrenched at UCS (Columbia). Aria plans to graduate in August with a philosophy major. Nadia is finishing her junior year and will spend the next year as President of her sorority (AXO). Natasha is a freshman and Social Chair of AXO -- she gets to plan the mixers with the fraternities -- Hey, someone has to do it!.

Kim is well and the massage business (Massage Therapy, Inc.) is doing fine. Check it out at www.massagehiltonhead.com.

Dad, Ernest Brewer, passed away peacefully in May and we miss him.

In August we went to War Trace, TN to visit Kim's sister, Nadine Wolf and her family. We enjoyed the time with family and got to see a few Nashville sights, including a night at the Grand Ole Opry.

Everyone was home for Christmas, but the new year will see Aria in Pittsburgh and NYC with his girlfriend, Ashley, who visited here for a few days just after Christmas. Nadia is also be in NYC visiting with college girlfriends. Nadia just returned from Jacksonville after visiting Kent's family.

Manuel’s has visited Savannah, Charleston, Columbia, Augusta and Aiken (often) as Chair of the Savannah River Site Citizens Advisory Board. He also got to visit Idaho Falls and New Orleans in that capacity and has been elected to the Chair again for 2010 which will be the last year he can serve on the board.

Kim and Manual attended Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University course a few months ago and now our money has a name on it every month.

Finally, and again Ruby sends everyone a hearty Australian Shepherd “Woof, Woof,” and joins us all in wishing you blessings in the New Year.

Manuel, Kim, Aria, Nadia, Natasha, Ruby
