** 2012 ** Merry Christmas **
** Happy Hanukkah ** Happy Kwanza **
** Happy New Year 2013 **

Season Greetings from the Maurice & Antonia Brooks Ecung family

Well, another year down. Can't believe how fast they are passing. We have nothing to complain about. Life is good for both of us and the girls, Melanie and Allison. Hope we find the same on your home front. We will be spending the Christmas Holidays with the girls in New York.

Dr. Melanie Antonia, (MD, USAFA '01) is completing her 2nd year of residency at Albany (NY) Medical Center in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. After observing her grandfather, her dad and her uncles, she is also considering rheumatology and geriatrics.

Allison Marie (Ph.D. candidate, USAFA '03) is Manager of Member Relations for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) on Wall Street in NYC. Still the Globe Trotter, she was in Monaco, Paris and Brussels last month. She is regularly featured in the New York Time for her volunteer service and fashion style.

Dr. Antonia Marie (Ph.D.) is completing her eleventh year as Dean of Porterville College. She has helped so many students who literally wouldn't have made it, without her assistance. This year she has also had to contend with the passing of her younger brother and health issues with her 89 year old dad. Thankfully, her sister, Phyllis, is helping out. That eases the burden. She is looking forward to the Christmas break with the girls in NY.

Maurice (NoLtrs, USAFA '68), through his company, Success Valley Productions, LLC, is enjoying producing a 12 segment "Pathfinder" PBS video series. It is scheduled to air for the 2013-2014 screening season. You "military types" (others too) might enjoy viewing a "work in progress" of his interview with Cmdr. (ret.) Wesley Brown, USNA '49. (22 min.) Or the pre-segment promotion (interview completed November 25th in Denver) for 100 year old Educator, Dr. Marie Greenwood. (4 min.) The Greenwood clip was part of the program for City of Denver honoring her contributions, on the occasion of her 100th birthday, November 24th, 2012.
