Merry Christmas Friend,

As Christmas draws near toward the end of a horrendous year I am reminded of the many bright spots we have been blessed with. Every single one of them dealt with a memory, often fleeting, of one of our friends.

We have been blessed with many gifts throughout the year. We have been relatively healthy while a lot of people have seen major illnesses and even death. We have continued to eat good nourishing food while many do not know where there next meal will come from. We have stayed cool (or warm) in a comfortable home while many have inadequate shelter. We have financial security while many live from moment to moment. Most of all we have a wealth of people we can call friends because we have occasion to think well of them at moments throughout the year.

We just want you to know that we consider you one of those special friends who have made an impact on our lives in some small way. We also want you to know that what ever your circumstances and however your year has been, someone has sent you a fleeting good memory sometime this last year.

We have had some warm and tender thoughts about you and yours our friend.
