| The "rock" was painted shortly after we arrived at USAFA. The NCO's arrived at my room and handed my roomies and me paint and brushes and explained what had to be done. I'm old so I don't remember who else helped paint it. It was the day before we got our upper class. Of course the upperclassmen expressed indignation that someone had painted the rock. Since it was in our quadrangle it seemed obvious that it was us. From Dick Coe |
