Alan Ellsworth Keiser, a United States Air Force Veteran, proudly served his country from 1968 to 1972. While in service to his country he achieved the rank of Captain working as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer. He earned many medals and commendations to include the Air Force Longevity Service Award, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. Captain Keiser's final duty station was McConnell Air Force Base Wichita, Kansas where he was honorably discharged on October 20, 1972.

Captain Alan Ellsworth Keiser, 79, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, passed away on September 1, 2025.

A proud graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Class of 1968, Alan honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1972, earning several medals in recognition of his service.

Alan was a simple man who appreciated the quieter things in life. He enjoyed a peaceful, uncomplicated lifestyle and was happiest surrounded by the comforts of home and the things he loved. He had a lifelong passion for classic cars, especially Ford Mustangs, and was known for his quick wit and unmistakably dry sense of humor. While he wasn't one for unnecessary fuss or attention, those who knew him appreciated his unique personality and the subtle humor he brought to everyday moments.

He is survived by his niece, Katie Reid; nephew, James Fowler; great-nieces, Cira Fowler and Amaya Reid; great-nephews, Chase Fowler and Anthony Reid Jr.; and cousin, Barbara Canfield.

Alan will be remembered for his honorable service to his country, his appreciation for life's simple pleasures, his love of classic cars, and his one-of-a-kind sense of humor. He lived life on his own terms, finding contentment in peace and quiet rather than the hustle and bustle of the world around him.

Rest in peace, Captain Keiser. Thank you for your service.
