William
Brown, age 73, passed away on July 12, 2019, in Woodland Park, Colo.
After graduating from the Air Force Academy, he moved to Woodland
Park and began his land development and building company. It is
there that he had a family and raised his children.
He loved traveling; something he instilled his children. He showed
his kids that exploring new places and cultures was magical. Some
of his favorite memories and stories were from long road trips,
living in Japan as a teenager, family adventures through Mexico,
Europe and a special father-son trip to Machu Picchu.
He spent a few years in Guadalajara, Mexico, working with local
churches and a few of his later years in Phoenix, Ariz., to be closer
to family. Even with the change of scenery, his heart was always
in the mountains. He made his way back to Woodland Park in the summer
of 2019.
He is survived by his daughter Andrea and grandchildren Mia and
Oliver of Phoenix, Ariz., and his son Jed and grandchildren Emma
and Jack of Seattle Wash. (Andrea
Rodriguez, William's daughter)
