Carl's father Carl A. Janssen, Lt. Col. USAF Ret, deceased, was not only a career SAC veteran, but also the first Director of what was then the Strategic Air Command Museum when it was built adjacent to Offutt Air Force Base. SAC should be memorialized in the museum located in Nebraska and near what was once SAC Headquarters for so many years. Carl is heading up the project to raise the $30,000 to build the memorial.
